Lorus' active pipeline has product candidates in the following anticancer therapies:
- Small molecule therapies based on anti-proliferative and anti-metastatic properties; and
- Immunotherapy, based on stimulating anticancer properties of the immune system and direct cytotoxicity.
Lorus also has expertise in RNA-targeted therapies (antisense and siRNA) based on synthetic segments of DNA or RNA designed to bind to the messenger RNA that is responsible for the production of proteins over-expressed in cancer cells. Our lead antisense program is Phase III-ready and available for partnering.
